Internship Program

North Country Community Mental Health offers internships for students at the Bachelor and Master levels. Interns gain valuable experience in the behavioral health field and may be offered full-time positions after completing their degrees.

Education Assistance

NCCMH provides a tuition reimbursement program and supports staff with assistance towards the cost of education through various state and federal programs such as Michigan Reconnect, Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF), and the MI Kids Now Loan Repayment Program (MKN LRP).

Loan Repayment Programs

Providers may participate in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF) and the Michigan State Loan Repayment Program (MSLRP) at the same time. For more information, visit the respective websites.

National Health Service Corps (NHSC)

Comprehensive Assessment Policy

Details on comprehensive assessments, confidentiality, fingerprinting photography, grievance procedures, resident communication, freedom of movement, entertainment, and residential property and funds policies are available upon request.
