Registered Nurse 2 - CVICU (WOW) (Nights)

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care for patients in assigned areas according to established procedures.
• Works within clinical setting of Diagnostic Imaging Department to ensure maintenance of a high standard of patient care and physician satisfaction.
• Reports to Imaging Nurse Manager.
• Provides the best possible nursing care by planning, organizing, and directing the nursing functions of patients on the unit.

Qualifications

• One year experience as an RN needed.
• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Demonstrates ability to recognize patients' individual needs based on medical conditions, age adolescents, young adults, middle-aged and geriatric), limitations and planned procedures.
• Requires good judgment in delivering patient care; good oral and written communication skills; ability to function in stressful situations; current review in CPR.
• Must be willing to rotate shifts, days off and work area; may occasionally be required to work overtime.
• Licensure: Current Mississippi State license as RN.
