About the role

High-Acuity Registered Nurse (RN) – FT, PT, PRN All Shifts at AMG Specialty Hospital in Muncie, IN (located inside IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital). Compensation: Competitive Market Pay + Shift Differentials. Sign‑on bonus: $10,000 for full‑time Registered Nurses. Ownership: 100% Employee‑Owned (ESOP). AMG Specialty Hospital is a boutique Long‑Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility providing exceptional, high‑acuity care to patients requiring extended ICU stays, ventilator support, vasopressors, or advanced wound management. As an employee‑owned company, nurses have a literal stake in the hospital’s success and work in a close‑knit, specialized clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced nursing care.
• Assess, plan, and evaluate comprehensive care cycles for patients transitioning from traditional ICUs.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and leadership to drive positive patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure: Active, unencumbered Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience: Prior nursing experience in a high‑acuity setting (e.g., ICU, Step‑down, CCU, or high‑acuity LTAC) is highly preferred; willing to train self‑motivated RNs passionate about critical care.
