About the role
Audubon is seeking a Registered or Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS/PLS) to join our team. The RPLS/PLS will manage, plan, schedule, and perform multiple survey projects and personnel, applying sound survey principles in planning, evaluating, and completing survey projects.
In this role, you will review and approve field measurements, direct and assist with preparation of survey documents, and direct field surveys as required by scheduling or for professional supervisory and quality control purposes.
Responsibilities
- Manage, plan, schedule, and perform multiple survey projects and personnel.
- Apply sound survey principles in planning, evaluating, and completing survey projects.
- Review and approve field measurements.
- Direct and assist with preparation of survey documents.
- Direct field surveys for scheduling, professional supervisory, and quality control purposes.
Requirements
- A.S. or B.S. Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Registered or Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS/RPLS) status in one or more of the following states: Arkansas, Missouri, North Dakota, Kansas, Oklahoma, and/or Texas.
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience performing various types of boundary, topographic, pipeline, and control surveys.
- A minimum of 2+ years' experience as a Registered or Licensed Professional Land Surveyor.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of Trimble survey equipment and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Some travel may be required.
