Registered Dietitian - Up to $39.00 per hour (Battle Creek, MI)

About the role

The Registered Dietician at Evergreen is responsible for assessing, developing, and directing the overall nutrition plan of care for each guest. They collaborate with and encourage guests and families to participate in the development of care plans and stay current on new research related to the practice of dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Assess and develop nutrition plans for guests
• Collaborate with guests and families to develop care plans
• Studying emerging trends and educating culinary staff on relevant nutrition topics

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition (Accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics)
• Current registration status in Michigan
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide nutrition services appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents
• Knowledgeable of dietary practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing dietary functions in nursing care facilities
