REGISTERED DIETITIAN (SAFETY)

Nutrition Assessment, Monitoring and Evaluation

Completes nutrition assessments utilizing the Nutrition Care Process for each assigned patient
Attends and consults with members of the treatment and interdisciplinary team
Initiates a more intensive MNT plan for patients identified at higher nutritional risk
Monitors and evaluates effectiveness of nutrition interventions and outcomes
Maintains current patient profile information on assigned patients

Nutrition Therapy Plan Implementation

Implements the nutrition therapy plan in collaboration with the treatment/interdisciplinary team.

To ensure that your application will be considered for this recruitment the following items are required:

• You are required to take and pass the Registered Dietitian (Safety) Examination which can be found here: Registered Dietitian.
• You must complete and submit the STD. 678 Application and include all duties performed with supervisor’s name and contact information.
• Attach a copy of your registration as Registered Dietitian from Commission on Dietetic Registration.

Please note that the application submission cutoff date is set for every Friday. Applications received after this date will be processed during the next weekly cutoff.
