About the role
A registered dietitian (RD) or registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) is needed to provide nutritional guidance and support to patients.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans based on patient needs
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of patient nutritional status
- Provide education and counseling on healthy eating habits and disease prevention
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Keep up-to-date with the latest research and trends in nutrition
Requirements
- Current registration as an RD/RDN with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Bachelor's degree in nutrition or related field
- Experience in clinical nutrition or related field preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of nutrition science and public health
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
