We’re looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary teams supporting teens and young adults in residential mental health treatment. Our clients are navigating complex challenges including anxiety, depression, and disordered eating/eating disorders secondary to their mental health diagnosis. In this role, you’ll help clients build a healthier relationship with food while supporting their overall wellness. You’ll collaborate with therapists, medical professionals, and culinary teams to create meaningful, restorative nutrition experiences. Newport Healthcare follows a gentle nutrition approach, rooted in evidenced-based eating disorder care and trauma-informed practices.

This position supports two six-bed residential treatment facilities and offers flexible scheduling to accommodate candidates’ needs and career goals. Dietitians are also eligible for sponsorship towards the Certified Eating Disorder Specialist credential through the International Association of Eating Disorders Foundation.

  • Work with culinary and clinical teams to create creative and joyful food exposures and culinary experiences.
  • Maintain accurate records of all client sessions and assessments in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
  • Communicate with families, therapists, and outside healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and provide guidance that supports clients beyond their time in treatment.

  • Satisfactory completion of the CDR test.
  • Maintenance of RD Credential.
