Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist/Health Educator 1, 2, or 3 (Columbus)

Job Responsibilities

This position is housed in housed in Columbus and will be required to travel to the surrounding 16 counties as assigned. You will support the Department by utilizing your expertise to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Provide nutrition services to clients in the WIC Program as assigned
• Complete nutrition screenings, assessments, and provide education for eligible WIC clients.

Minimum Qualifications

• Nutritionist/Dietitian 1 - (Hire-in salary - $41,064.48)
• Bachelor's degree in dietetics, human nutrition, foods and nutrition, nutrition education, food systems management, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university
• Verification statement of completion of a didactic program accredited by The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
• Nutritionist/Dietitian 2 - (Hire-in salary - $45,170.93)
• Bachelor's degree in dietetics, human nutrition, foods and nutrition, nutrition education, food systems management, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university
• Verification statement of completion of a didactic program accredited by The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
• Two years of experience providing nutrition care to groups and individuals
• Nutritionist/Dietitian 3 - (Hire-in salary - $51,946.80)
• Bachelor's degree in dietetics, human nutrition, food and nutrition, nutrition education, food systems management or a closely related field from an accredited college or university from an Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics accredited program
• One year of experience as a dietitian/nutritionist
• Registration as a Dietitian by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Licensure as a Dietitian in the State of Georgia
