Registered Dietitian (Mandarin OR Spanish Speaking)

About the role

Welcome to WelbeHealth PACE, where we empower seniors to live independently and with dignity. As a Registered Dietitian, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the nutritional landscape of our community.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutrition assessments to determine participant needs, preferences, and goals
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to develop holistic nutrition plans
• Deliver and document nutrition interventions in accordance with physician orders
• Manage menu planning and meal delivery programs to ensure compliance with regulations
• Oversee the intake and enrollment process to facilitate a smooth transition for new participants

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian with at least two (2) years of experience directing nutrition services in a healthcare setting
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid certification required
• Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills in senior care environments
• At least one (1) year of experience working with a frail or elderly population
• Geriatric care or chronic disease management experience preferred

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field
• License to practice as a Registered Dietitian in the state of New York

Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of dietary guidelines and nutritional science
• Experience with meal planning and food service operations
