Registered Dietitian - FLOAT

A $5,000 retention package is offered. Must be willing to float between clinics in Merced, Atwater, and Los Banos, CA.

About the Role

As a Registered Dietitian at DaVita, you’ll be a vital member of each patient’s core care team. You will analyze lab-work results and educate patients—and their families—on what to eat accordingly. Your ability to influence and lead will be critical to helping them live better lives. Responsibilities

• Analyze lab-work results and provide nutritional education to patients and their families.
• Float between clinics in Merced, Atwater, and Los Banos, CA as needed.
• Commit to improving patient health through clinical goal-setting and quality improvement initiatives.
• Successfully complete the Competency Assessment for Renal Dietitians (CARD) with a score of at least 80% after hire and training.

Requirements

• Minimum of 12 months professional experience as a Registered Dietitian in a clinical nutrition setting.
• State licensure required if licensure is available in the state where the facility is located.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a similar area.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, possibly for multiple facilities, and travel when needed.
• Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; functional proficiency with DaVita-specific applications within 60 days.

Pay
