About the role

A desirable opportunity exists for a highly accomplished professional to assist in managing the community's Care Center Food and Beverage Operations, ensuring a quality dining experience. This position works closely with community F&B staff to maintain sanitation and HACCP standards in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional initial, quarterly, annual, and significant change reviews on residents according to federal and state guidelines.
• Review monthly and weekly weights to identify residents with significant changes.
• Complete monthly nutritional reviews on high-risk residents (e.g., significant weight loss/gain, pressure ulcers, hemodialysis, tube-fed).
• Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions, and current health plans to develop and implement dietary care plans and provide nutritional counseling as needed.
• Consult with physicians and other healthcare personnel (Nurse Practitioners, Dialysis Dietitians, etc.) to determine diet restrictions and nutritional needs of residents.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical nutrition experience.
• State certification in food service sanitation.
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (credentialing agency for the American Dietetic Association).
• Bachelor’s Degree in nutrition from an accredited college or university.
• Knowledge of HACCP preferred.
• Compliance with Florida's Care Provider Background Screening process.

Pay

USD $34.10 - USD $42.62 per hour.

Schedule

Per Diem, flexible schedule to cover for time off and volumes.
