About the role

As a Registered Dietitian, you will oversee and provide optimal nutrition therapy to a case load of clients. You will develop care plans by conducting nutrition assessments, monitoring ongoing medical conditions, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary treatment team. You will work directly with patients and their families, providing support and nutritional education.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight and provision of optimal nutrition therapy to a case load of clients.
  • Development of care plans through nutrition assessments, monitoring medical conditions, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary treatment team.
  • Direct interaction with patients and families, providing support and nutritional education.
  • Work with both adolescent and adult clients.
  • Maintain an outpatient caseload and serve as a Float Registered Dietitian, providing coverage and support to locations throughout Washington as needed.
  • Primary float responsibility is providing onsite coverage at the Spokane location, including support for groups and meals, and virtual programs.
  • Supports plating and provides active meal coaching/support for clients in Therapeutic Supported Meals.
  • Contributes to multidisciplinary case conceptualization and treatment planning.
  • Provides nutrition-specific transition/aftercare planning for all patients, including communication with internal and external dietitians to ensure coordination of care.
  • Documents all nutrition care in a clear, concise, and professional manner using the EHR, in compliance with policies and procedures and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Dietitian license in the state of employment required.
  • Board certification with the Commission on Dietetic Registration required.
  • Master’s Degree required. Unless licensed prior to January 2024.
  • DBT, CBT, FBT experience preferred.
  • Eating Disorders treatment experience preferred.
  • Computer proficiency required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
