Position Details
- Schedule: 4- 8 hours per week via Telehealth
- Employment Type: Per Diem / PRN (4-8 hours/week)
- Flexibility: Workdays can be coordinated based on your availability and client needs
Key Responsibilities
- Provide virtual 1:1 nutrition and weight management counseling
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans
- Support diet therapy, education, and behavior change strategies
- Plan, organize, and evaluate all aspects of patient nutritional care
- Educate clients as well as staff on nutrition-related topics
- Participate in required training to support WV Public Employees Insurance Agency (PEIA) programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in food & nutrition or related field
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential (Commission on Dietetic Registration)
- Active West Virginia Registered Dietitian License
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient education skills
- Willingness to complete required PEIA training
