Registered Dietitian

Overview

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our Clinical and Patient Services team. The ideal candidate will manage the daily operations of outpatient centers, provide nutritional services, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

Job Description

The Registered Dietitian will assess patient's knowledge of diet and kidney disease, provide detailed education, participate in interdisciplinary comprehensive assessments, and develop individualized comprehensive plans of care. They will calculate diet prescriptions, document progress notes, and monitor adherence to nutrition therapy.

Success Profile

• Strong management and leadership skills
• Prior direct patient care experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and make quick decisions
• Knowledge of Urea Kinetic Modeling and mineral metabolism
• Experience with dialysis, ICU, PCU, and/or surgery
