About the role
DaVita is seeking a Registered Dietitian who will be a vital member of each patient’s core care team. The role requires active Kentucky RD licensure and can be PRN, part-time, or full-time with flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Analyze lab-work results and educate patients and their families on appropriate dietary intake.
- Collaborate with the patient’s care team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Influence and lead in a patient-centered environment to improve their quality of life.
Requirements
- State licensure required if available in the state where the facility is located.
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, possibly for multiple facilities and travel when needed.
- Successfully complete the Competency Assessment for Renal Dietitians (CARD) with a score of at least 80% after training.
- Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Functional proficiency with DaVita specific applications within 60 days of employment.

- Knowledge of renal dietetics principles and practices.

The schedule can be PRN, part-time, or full-time with flexible hours, and the role does not require working weekends or holidays.
