Registered Dietitian
The Role
We are looking for an additional full time Registered Dietitian to join our team onsite at our Los Angeles, CA clinic. This is an opportunity to join an interdisciplinary team committed to providing personalized, compassionate and high-quality SMI care.
What You’ll Work On
Clinical Nutrition & Patient Support
- Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling to patients with severe mental illness.
- Conduct assessments to identify health and behavioral needs and create individualized coaching plans.
- Implement behavior-change strategies, address barriers, and adjust plans based on patient progress.
- Support dietary and nutrition-led interventions in partnership with dietitians/nutritionists.
Wellness Programming
- Lead daily and weekly group activities that promote light movement, physical wellness, and healthy routines.
Interdisciplinary Care Coordination
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and care teams to share updates on patient goals, progress, and clinical considerations.
- Participate in research initiatives by implementing therapeutic dietary protocols (e.g., ketogenic interventions) and collecting outcome data.
What You’ll Have
2+ years of experience as a Registered Dietitian, working with complex patient populations, preferably in the mental health space.
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a relevant field such as Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related area from an ACEND-accredited program, along with current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Solid understanding of basic workplace technology, and an interest in utilizing technology to improve outcomes for patients.
