Registered Dietitian
Responsibilities
- Conduct nutritional assessments and screenings for patients.
- Develop and monitor individualized diet plans based on physician orders and patient needs.
- Educate patients on nutrition and therapeutic diets.
- Collaborate with Culinary Services to ensure proper meal planning and dietary compliance.
- Review menus and diet orders for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Document dietary assessments and interventions in the electronic medical record.
- Provide nutrition education and in-service training to Culinary Services staff.
- Participate in interdisciplinary committees and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to food safety, infection prevention, and hospital policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics from an accredited college or university.
- Current Registered Dietitian credential.
- Active Oklahoma Dietitian License.
- Oklahoma Food Handler's Permit.
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel between facilities.
- Basic computer proficiency and EMR experience.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare or hospital food service environment.
- Experience conducting nutritional assessments and managing therapeutic diets.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards for hospital dietary services.
Skills
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and EMR experience.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $65,000.00 - $90,000.00/yr.
