Registered Dental Hygienist | On Pointe Dentistry | Phoenix, AZ

About the role

On Pointe Dentistry, located at 750 E Thunderbird Rd, Suite 4, Phoenix, AZ 85022, is a general dentistry practice serving a PPO and fee-for-service patient mix. The hygiene schedule is single‑column with 60‑minute recall/prophy appointments and 90‑minute scaling and root planing (SRP) appointments, allowing hygienists dedicated time for thorough, patient‑centered care. As part of the United Dental Corporation network, the practice offers a collaborative environment focused on quality preventive care, patient education, and building long‑term patient relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive preventive and periodontal hygiene care
• Perform prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing
• Complete periodontal charting and assess patients' periodontal health using CareStack
• Take diagnostic radiographs using Nomad imaging equipment
• Educate patients on oral health, home care, and recommended treatment
• Identify clinical concerns and communicate findings to the dentist
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with the dentist, dental assistants, and front office team
• Help create a comfortable, positive experience for every patient

Requirements

• Active Dental Hygiene License in Phoenix, AZ
• Local Anesthesia Certification (if applicable by state)
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Commitment to quality patient care
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Preferred: Experience with assisted hygiene models
• Preferred: Laser Certification
• Preferred: Experience in PPO and Fee-for-Service environments
• Preferred: Experience with periodontal therapy
• Preferred: Experience with patient education and treatment acceptance
• Preferred: Bilingual skills

Pay

$50-$55/hour, based on experience

Schedule

Full-Time | Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM-5:00 PM Lunch: 1-hour unpaid break
