Registered Dental Hygienist

About the Role

We’re hiring a dental hygienist to help us provide incredible dental care to each of our patients. You’ll conduct preliminary dental exams, assist dentists with examinations and procedures, and perform thorough dental cleanings. Responsibilities

• Remove plaque and apply fluoride or other sealants to prevent cavities and tooth decay
• Provide post-operative health education to patients so they can practice good dental care at home after procedures
• Put patients at ease by talking with them before, during, and after the appointment
• Take x-ray images of the patients’ teeth to help dentists identify oral health issues like cavities
• Aid dentists by deliberating the best way to treat a variety of dental diseases
• Keep detailed records of each patient’s visit and update their health history
• Look for signs of gum disease, infections, or cavities to ensure issues are caught early and can be treated

Requirements

• Must have at least an associate’s degree in dental hygiene; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Possesses a state license to practice dental hygiene
• In-depth knowledge of dental safety regulations and HIPAA regulations
• Valid CPR certification
• Seasoned and new graduates are both encouraged to apply

Pay

$62 hourly, depending on experience.
