About the role
Brighton Family Dentistry is seeking a skilled, compassionate, and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate is committed to providing excellent preventive dental care while creating a comfortable and positive experience for every patient.
Responsibilities
- Provide thorough dental cleanings and preventive hygiene services
- Perform periodontal assessments and document patient findings
- Take and develop dental X-rays as permitted by state regulations
- Apply fluoride, sealants, and other preventive treatments as appropriate
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
- Review medical and dental histories and identify relevant concerns
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Follow all OSHA, infection-control, and office safety protocols
- Work collaboratively with the dentist and dental team
- Help create a welcoming, professional patient experience
Qualifications
- Current Dental Hygiene license in the applicable state
- Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working with patients of all ages
- Commitment to high-quality patient care and infection-control standards
Pay
$50 per hour plus bonuses
