Registered Dental Hygienist

About the role

Periodontal Associates Inc, located in Lyndhurst OH, is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. We offer flexible scheduling with offices in both Lyndhurst and Mentor.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough and accurate oral assessments to identify patients' oral health conditions.
• Clean and remove plaque, tartar, and stains from patients' teeth using various dental instruments.
• Administer local anesthesia to patients as required for dental procedures.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and using mouthwash.
• Provide personalized recommendations for oral care products based on individual patient needs.
• Take dental X-rays and process them for the dentist's evaluation.
• Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride varnishes or sealants to protect patients' teeth.
• Conduct periodontal charting and assist the dentist in identifying and treating gum diseases.

Requirements

• Newly licensed Dental Hygienist.
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
• Understanding of health & safety regulations.
• Good computer skills.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• A strong attention to detail.
• Well-organized and reliable.
• A high school diploma.
• Hygiene Provider State Licensure.

• Final compensation will be determined based on your experience and qualifications.

Pay

Position Base Pay Range: $38 - $45 USD

Schedule

No Weekends or late evenings
Monday - Thursday
9:00AM - 4:00PM
