About the role
Aland Family Dentistry is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our dynamic team. Located in the heart of Reno, our practice offers flexible scheduling and a supportive, family-like environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive preventative and periodontal therapies for patients of all ages
- Perform high-quality clinical exams, preventative cleanings, scaling, root planning (SRP), digital charting, and oral cancer screenings
- Collaborate with doctors to co-diagnose, review digital X-rays, audit periodontal health, and build conservative, customized treatment plans
- Engage patients actively in their preventative care plans and clear up anxieties
- Maintain an efficient, comfortable flow across the hygiene department, supporting dental assistants and keeping the atmosphere enjoyable
- Participate in paid continuing education (CE) opportunities and structured professional development
Requirements
- Licensure: Active Nevada Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in good standing (or currently in the active process of obtaining NV licensure)
- Technical Skills: Experience with modern dental practice management software and digital charting (experience with Open Dental alongside digital radiography is a major plus)
- Patient Care: A deep commitment to providing gentle, compassionate, and comprehensive preventative and periodontal therapies

Qualifications
- Education: Graduated from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience preferred

Schedule
We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities, with 30+ hours/week qualifying for full benefits.
Pay
High starting base pay of $45.00 – $50.00/hr, paired with a hygiene production bonus structure that directly rewards your daily hard work!
Commute
We are commuter-friendly, located in the heart of Reno, offering easy reverse commutes from Carson City (30 mins), Sparks, or Truckee (40 mins).
