Registered Dental Hygienist

Full-time position in Lihue, Kauai with relocation assistance available.

Hawaii Island Dental is seeking a compassionate, motivated Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our patient-centered team in beautiful Lihue, Kauai. Schedule

• Monday – Thursday
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Three-day weekend every week

Pay

$55–$60 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional preventive and periodontal dental hygiene care
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and periodontal charting
• Take digital radiographs
• Educate patients on oral health and preventive care
• Collaborate with the doctor to develop individualized treatment plans
• Accurately document patient treatment and clinical findings
• Build lasting relationships through compassionate, personalized care

Requirements

• Active Hawaii Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) License
• Hawaii Local Anesthesia Certification (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Positive attitude and team-first mindset
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality care

Laser certification is a plus, but not required.
