About the role

Our Kingston practice offers one‑hour hygiene appointments with a true single‑column schedule, seeing one patient at a time without double‑booked columns. Full‑time stability or consistent part‑time scheduling options are available. The position is located in‑person at our Kingston, New York practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive and periodontal care with a focus on patient comfort, education, and clinical quality.
• Take the time to understand each patient’s needs and concerns.
• Help patients understand their oral health and feel confident in their treatment.
• Build trusting, long‑term relationships with patients.
• Collaborate with dentists and clinical team members to provide coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records.
• Contribute to a respectful, positive, and patient‑focused practice environment.
• Utilize Dentrix and Overjet AI for accurate, cloud‑based charting and clinical records.
• Perform thorough preventive and periodontal therapies, including scaling and root planing (SRP) and prophylaxis.

Requirements

• Current New York State Dental Hygienist license, or pending licensure.
• Strong clinical and patient‑education skills.
