What You’ll Do As our RDA, you will split your time between hands-on patient and leading the systems that keep our office safe and compliant. Chairside & clinical support Assist Dr. Mason during general and restorative procedures with smooth four-handed dentistryPrepare and break down operatories between patients, following strict infection-control protocolsTake and process digital dental radiographs (digital X-rays)Perform expanded functions allowed under your Michigan RDA registrationUse of digital scannerFabricate temporary crowns and bridgesTake traditional impressions if necessary, and prepare materials as needed.Provide post-operative instructions and answer patient questions with warmth and patienceHelp patients feel comfortable and informed, especially those who are nervous about dental careMaintain accurate charting in our practice-management software (Eaglesoft experience is a plus)Manage instrument sterilization and run, monitor, and log sterilization cycles OSHA & compliance lead Serving as the practice’s point person for OSHA complianceLeading and documenting bloodborne pathogens and hazardcommunication training for the teamMaintaining and updating the exposure control plan and OSHA documetationKeeping Safety Data Sheets (SDS) current and accessibleOversee infection control and sterilization monitoring, including spore (biological) testing logsManage PPE inventory and keep us audit- and inspection-ready year roundHelp onboard and train new team members on safety procedures We will support you in this.
