Registered Dental Assistant

About the role

Moxy Dental and Airway is seeking an experienced and dependable Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team. We are looking for a dental professional who is comfortable supporting a busy clinical environment, takes pride in maintaining excellent infection-control standards, and is committed to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the hygienist with X-rays, charting, and room turnover
• Assist the doctor during a variety of dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures
• Maintain proper sterilization and infection-control procedures
• Clean, disinfect, and prepare operatories between patients
• Perform routine maintenance of dental equipment
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and office safety policies and procedures
• Help maintain an organized, efficient, and patient-focused clinical environment

Qualifications

• 2+ years of dental assisting experience
• RDA Certification/licensure
• Preferred: Candidates with 5+ years of strong dental assisting experience may also be considered
• Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control standards
• Experience with proper instrument sterilization and operatory disinfection
• Knowledge of routine dental equipment maintenance
• Ability to work effectively alongside doctors, hygienists, and other members of the dental team
• Dependable, organized, and attentive to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification/license
• 5+ years of dental assisting experience

Schedule

Full-time. Approximately 8-hour shifts, 3–4 days per week.
