About the Role
We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dedicated team in Trenton, TN. Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Support: Assist the dentist chairside during a wide range of restorative, cosmetic, and surgical procedures using smooth, four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Patient Care & Communication: Welcome patients, review health histories, explain procedures clearly, ease anxiety, and provide comprehensive post-operative care instructions.
- Operatory Management: Prepare, sanitize, and stock treatment rooms before and after procedures in strict compliance with OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA guidelines.
- Diagnostics & Radiography: Take crisp, accurate digital X-rays and intraoral photos as directed by the doctor.
- Lab & Records: Prepare clinical documentation/notes efficiently, take impressions, pour and trim models, and manage lab cases accurately. Use digital scanning technology to increase patient satisfaction for prosthetics.
- Team Collaboration: Participate actively in morning huddles, maintain proactive communication with front-office staff, and support team flow throughout the day.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of active, chairside dental assisting experience required. General dentistry experience is highly preferred.
- Licensure/Certifications:
- Active Tennessee Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) License with Nitrous Oxide certification required.
- Tennessee Radiology Certification required.
- Active CPR/BLS Certification required.
- Coronal Polishing certification preferred (but must be willing to obtain).
- Clinical Skills: Proficient in 4-handed dentistry, digital radiography, dental software systems, and infection control protocols.
- Personal Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills, reliable work ethic, attention to detail, positive attitude, and a commitment to exemplary patient care.
