Registered Dental Assistant at Children's Dental Center

Responsibilities

• Aid the dentist during dental procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
• Maintain a clean and organized dental operatory.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality.

Requirements

• Must have a valid South Dakota Dental Assistant license or a valid DANB certification.
• Must have a valid SD Dental Radiographer license.
• Authorized to administer nitrous oxide, preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Careful and caring attitude toward patients and parents.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
