About the role
As a Registered Client Service Associate, you will support Bankers and Financial Advisors within a segment-specific client base while expanding services to new and existing affluent customers. You will provide administrative and operational support, and also engage in sales activities using banking, investments, and credit products to contribute to the team’s goals.
Responsibilities
- Investments Side
- Back up Financial Advisors/International Relationship Managers by processing trades and preparing investment proposals.
- Explain investment proposals and assist in portfolio rebalancing, ensuring suitability for each client.
- Handle ACATS for asset transfers between Broker Dealers.
- Gather and process new account and KYC documentation; maintain existing client information.
- Maintain and update Salesforce Pipeline reports for weekly or ad-hoc team meetings.
- Collaborate with the KYC/AML Team to create and maintain the Client Risk Framework using information from client visits.
- Prepare client correspondence following firm guidelines.
- Bank Side
- Communicate regularly with clients, providing proactive and on-demand customer service.
- Manage IPB unit communications, resolve customer inquiries, and prepare customer information.
- Process account onboarding for Bci Miami, including compliance assistance.
- Handle commercial onboarding: debit card/checkbook requests, OB registration, and follow-up on welcome emails.
- Open and track cases for Online Banking registration; maintain logs and answer status inquiries.
- Manage BSA Radar for new account onboarding and existing client maintenance.
- Complete maintenance requests (e.g., contact/mailing information updates, AS400 follow-ups).
- Manage requests from the Documentation department and assist with W8 annual projects.
- Process wire transfers, callback instructions, and maintain wire transfer logs.
- Renew and issue CDs, follow up on maturity dates, and manage checkbook orders.
- Answer phone/email inquiries, deposit checks, and handle batch changes in CDs.
- Monitor new accounts and funding; activate inactive accounts.
- Support debit/credit card inquiries, disputes, and requests (e.g., sign-ins, online transfers).
- Process collateral requests from Home Office and Credit Department (e.g., Amex paperwork).
- Maintain logs for customer inquiries, complaints, and errors.
- Coordinate follow-ups between Personal Banking, Documentation, and Compliance.
- Handle return mail, update client addresses, and close cases with Reception/Documentation.
- General Support
- Assist walk-in customers and resolve inquiries or problems.
- Initiate account investigations and ensure compliance with legal/regulatory requirements.
- Respond to alerts and compliance information requests.
Skills

- Physical ability to carry and lift objects weighing between 10 and 25 pounds.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of coursework and work experience.
- Series 7 license required; Series 66 or 63/65 preferred (must maintain current and in good standing).
- At least 5 years of investment experience in International Wealth Management, with knowledge of investments and bank products.
- Intermediate to expert proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg Screen, and other banking applications.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
- Willingness to travel and provide coverage for other positions as requested.
Compliance Responsibilities
All staff members must comply with state and federal regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, Federal Election Campaign Act, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and Bank Bribery Amendments Act. Compliance with Bci’s Personnel Manual, Code of Ethics, and other policies is mandatory.
