Registered Brokerage Service Assistant

The First Citizens Wealth team provides comprehensive solutions in banking, lending, investments, insurance, and wealth planning. This position provides operational and trading support to financial planning associates and clients, facilitating high service standards through efficient daily operations and client inquiry handling.

Responsibilities

• Address operational client service questions and inquiries; research, resolve, and communicate updates to appropriate parties.
• Assist with time‑sensitive operational projects and deadlines.
• Ensure all unsolicited client trading requests are executed correctly and promptly.
• Create, maintain, and update client accounts using department systems, including money movement requests and cashier records.
• Identify outstanding process needs or account actions and ensure all necessary documentation is present.
• File, complete, and maintain department forms and client paperwork; assist in processing compliance files and sourcing information for daily activities.
• Collaborate with associates, management, clients, and business teams to fulfill daily requests, provide necessary information, and follow up on outstanding items.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma/GED with at least 2 years of experience in Financial Services or the Brokerage industry.
• Must obtain within 180 days: Series 7, Series 63 & 65 or 66, and state‑specific life, health, and long‑term care insurance licenses.
