About the Role

We are seeking individuals with at least 1 year of experience working with children with Autism to join our collaborative on-site team in San Marcos, TX. Your days will be centered around your passions, growth aspirations, and extreme job satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Support children with autism by implementing behavior support plans that teach functional language skills, developmental milestones, self-help skills, self-advocacy skills, social skills, and customized programs.
  • Work collaboratively with our team, embracing feedback for growth.
  • Receive direct support and clinical supervision from our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and staff.
  • Collect and summarize data as specified by individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintain daily attendance to support early intervention programs for our kids.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience working with children with Autism.
  • Backgrounds in paraprofessional work, direct support, childcare, education, mental health advocacy, or related fields are preferred.
  • A college degree in any field is preferred, particularly in Teaching, Special Education, Sociology, Human Development, Early Childhood Development, or Psychology.

Pay

Hourly Rate: $18.00-$20.00/hour, determined by RBT Competency Exam and experience.

Career Growth

Experienced candidates will undergo an RBT Competency Exam to determine starting pay. Competency levels are re-assessed every 6 months, with 6 levels offering additional responsibilities, growth, and pay.
