Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Paraeducator- Floater
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will support students with disabilities by implementing individual programs, collecting data, and communicating with certified teaching staff and the BCBA. Responsibilities include:
- Implementing behavior management strategies and positive behavioral supports to assist students in accessing their learning.
Qualifications:
- Hold credentials for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or can obtain within 60 days of selection for the position.
- Hold the current Paraeducator qualifications of an Associates degree or higher, or have passed the ParaPro/ParaPathways Exam.
- Experience working with school age children with autism spectrum disabilities.
- Effective communication skills.
