About the role

At Children Making Strides, we are committed to providing exceptional ABA therapy services to children with autism and their families. As an ABA Therapist/Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in helping us achieve our mission by providing ABA therapy to children aged 2-9 in home, daycare, and center-based settings. You will create engaging and fun learning experiences, draft progress reports for senior health professionals, and help children build vital life skills surrounding communication and socialization.

Responsibilities

• Provide ABA therapy services to children at their homes or in our clinic, drafting reports to relay their progress to senior health professionals.
• Help children build vital life skills surrounding communication and socialization needs.
• Work alongside like-minded individuals to create best outcomes and impacts.
• Create engaging and fun learning experiences.
• Foster a supportive and caring environment.
• Provide continuous, uninterrupted supervision of clients throughout scheduled sessions.

Requirements

• Positive, patient, and creative individuals with a heart full of empathy and dedication.
• Passion for helping children shine.
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a related field (or related experience with ABA and/or young children) preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid driver's license, a registered vehicle, and active car insurance.

Physical Requirements

• Maintain close, continuous proximity to clients throughout sessions.
• Respond quickly to elopement attempts and behavioral crises, including physical intervention when necessary.
• Perform prolonged standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, and floor-level work.
