About the role
Aba Centers of Pennsylvania is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to join our team. This position offers a starting rate of $24.60 per hour for RBTs and $22.25 per hour for BCaBAs. Additionally, there is a $500 RBT referral bonus and a $5,000 BCBA referral bonus.
Responsibilities
- Direct Client Support
- Deliver ABA therapy in various settings such as homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues
- Teach communication, social, and daily living skills
- Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision
- Track progress and maintain quality by collecting, organizing, and documenting session data accurately
- Collaborate and communicate with BCBAs, team members, and families
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training
- Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles)
- Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance
- Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review
Position-Specific Items
- Behavior Technician (BT): Complete a 40-hour paid training program over 2 consecutive weeks (at the same rate of pay), followed by precepting (hands-on supervision), and pass the RBT exam within 45 days (up to 3 weeks total)
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Active certification in good standing; 1 week of paid training followed by precepting (hands-on supervision) (up to 2 weeks total)
