Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) / Behavior Technician (BT)

About the role

Strive ABA Therapy is seeking Behavior Technicians (R/BTs) to provide home-based direct treatment to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The R/BT will implement specific treatment plans designed to address the child's needs for behavioral management, social, daily living, and community skills under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by BCBA clinicians
• Provide direct therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in their homes
• Assess and document progress towards treatment goals
• Collaborate with families to develop and maintain positive behaviors
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure the well-being of the children

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience with children that have disabilities
• Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel up to one hour from your residence to provide services to clients, if applicable
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Able to meet the physical demands of the job which may include periods of sitting and standing as needed
