About the role
This position offers an opportunity to work with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. The role involves providing behavioral support in a therapeutic setting.Responsibilities
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans based on individual needs
- Monitor and record progress towards goals
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to provide consistent support
- Conduct assessments to identify areas of improvement
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
- Experience working with individuals with ASD and/or other developmental disabilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Experience with data collection and analysis
Skills
- Excellent observational and assessment skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
