About the role
We are seeking a passionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team of clinicians. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in behavior analysis and experience working with children with special needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in individual and group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements.
- Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
- Collect, record, and summarize data on observable patient behavior.
- Absorb and implement new protocols and techniques as directed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

- Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with patient's individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols.
- Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding patient progress as instructed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
- Utilize safe & appropriate procedures when working with patients.
- Maintain client confidentiality.

Requirements
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician.
- One year of successful experience in a similar position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills which includes a working knowledge of database, word processing, spreadsheet, and Internet software.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a very busy environment.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies, and other company documents.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standard situations.
Qualifications
- Education/ Certification: Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician.
- Experience/ Knowledge Required: One year of successful experience in a similar position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people.
- Ability to work with children between the ages of birth to 6 who are at risk.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills which includes a working knowledge of database, word processing, spreadsheet, and Internet software.
