About The Role
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in a residential setting. As an RBT, you will implement behavioral interventions and assist Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) in delivering effective treatment plans focused on behavior reduction and skill acquisition. You will work closely with clients and team members, assisting with daily activities, monitoring behavior, collecting data, and maintaining clear and professional communication to ensure the best outcomes for the individuals we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans under BCBA guidance.
- Accurately complete clinical and program-related documentation daily.
- Absorb and apply knowledge from supervision sessions to improve your practice.
- Assist with development and review of data collection tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Identify behavior-environment relationships and support appropriate interventions.
- Maintain clear, professional communication with supervisors and peers.
- Manage aggressive behavior using approved de-escalation and physical management techniques.
- Support training efforts for staff on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions.
- Adhere to the RBT Code of Ethics and maintain all required certifications.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Health and Human Services is preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency is required.
- Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is strongly preferred.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges is preferred.
