Registered Behavior Technician RBT
About the role
We are looking for passionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to teach young children affected by autism. This is a permanent part-time opportunity (10-20 hours on average) where you can make a full-time impact on a child's life.
Our home-based treatment involves working directly with the child and the family in their natural environment (most often their home) to teach essential skills such as communication, sharing, play, and waiting. BE's Registered Behavior Technicians make home sessions fun by teaching through play-based activities. We provide training to all staff to ensure confidence in instructing children affected by autism.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with children and families in their home or natural environment.
- Teach essential skills through play-based activities, including communication, sharing, play, and waiting.
- Assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing) for extended periods.
- Lift or move approximately 50 lbs as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum High School diploma.
- Active RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Certification.
- Valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance with your name listed as an insured driver.
- Web-enabled device (laptop or tablet).
- Minimum 3 weekdays with consistent availability for at least 6 months.
- Love and passion for working with children.
- Positive attitude and strong people skills to work with children and families.

Pay
$24 per hour based on experience, education, and certifications in the ABA field.
