Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
What You’ll Do
- Deliver one-on-one behavior support through fun, individualized activities
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Collect and record data on client progress accurately
- Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and support
- Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions

Qualifications
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for working with children
- 6 months of experience working or volunteering with individuals with intellectual disabilities is a must
- Candidates with an RBT, ABAT, or BCAT certification preferred
- Current student or recent graduate in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Sociology, Biology, or related field (Spanish-speaking is a plus)
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
- Reliability and a willingness to work with a variety of clients
Requirements
- Active RBT/ABAT/BCAT certification is required for this position
- If you do not hold an ABA paraprofessional/BT certification or training, please apply to the Behavior Technician role
- If you do not have an RBT/ABAT/OR BCAT certification, you must complete a 40-hour RBT training course prior to employment
- Maintain an active RBT/ABAT/BCAT as a requirement for continued employment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 18 years of age
- This job requires reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
- This job requires a CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain during onboarding)
- This job requires a TB test (within 90 days), MMR & Varicella Immunization, and a Pre-employment Physical (within the past year)
- This job requires a background check (FBI & DOJ)
