Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

About the role

At Blue Jay ABA, we specialize in delivering high-quality, in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Our dedicated team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Behavior Technicians (BTs/RBTs) collaborate closely with families to provide personalized, evidence-based support tailored to each child's unique needs.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
• Provide one-on-one behavior therapy sessions to individuals with ASD
• Collect and record data on client progress by using electronic data collection software
• Work with the supervising BCBA to implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs
• Ongoing communication with parents to review and monitor the client's progress
• Develop/create teaching materials and visuals
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is preferred but not required
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with children and their families
• Passion for making a difference in the lives of those with ASD

Pay

$21.00 - $26.00 / hour
