Key Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
- Provide one-on-one behavior therapy sessions to individuals with ASD
- Collect and record data on client progress by using electronic data collection software
- Work with the supervising BCBA to implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs
- Ongoing communication with parents to review and monitor the client's progress
- Develop/create teaching materials and visuals
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation (for travel)
- Ability to work flexible hours and occasional evenings and weekends
- Pass a background check
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field preferred
- Experience working with individuals with ASD is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Pass a criminal background check
Skills
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively with children and families
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
