Registered Behavior Technician | In Home RBT

About the role

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) providing in‑home or clinic ABA therapy for children ages 2–18 in King, NC. The RBT works one‑on‑one with children under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to develop communication, behavioral, social, and daily living skills. The Treetop (by Discovery ABA) delivers compassionate, evidence‑based ABA services and is dedicated to helping children with autism reach their full potential through individualized care, collaboration, and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized ABA therapy sessions in clients’ homes or clinic settings.
• Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs.
• Collect and record session data accurately using electronic medical records (EMR).
• Collaborate with caregivers and families to support treatment goals.
• Maintain regular communication with supervising BCBAs and clinical staff.
• Support positive behavior change through evidence‑based ABA strategies.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification or completion of the 40‑hour RBT training course.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience working with children of varying ages and abilities.
• Preferred: TRICARE certification.
• Preferred: CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).

Pay

Competitive hourly rate ranging from $20 to $30 per hour.
