Registered Behavior Technician - Center Based - Las Vegas

About the role

Proud Moments ABA is a national behavioral health organization providing the gold standard of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children on the autism spectrum from birth to age 21. Behavior Technicians (BT's) are an essential part of the treatment team, delivering 1-1 specialized treatment in partnership with Board Certified Behavior Analysts in a center-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavioral plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan and report progress.
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors.
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties.
• Physically keep up with clients as they move about the session area(s), including standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, kneeling, and generally keeping pace with children from 2-15 years old.
• Perform any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA.

Requirements

• Currently certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
• Currently certified with the Nevada ABA board or willing to obtain certification (if moving from another state).
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated ability to work with confidential information.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple high-priority tasks while working in a fast-paced environment.
