What You’ll Do

Support children in developing communication, problem-solving, and social skills through structured, play-based activities.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver one-on-one behavior support through fun, individualized activities
  • Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
  • Collect and record data on client progress accurately
  • Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and support
  • Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions

Qualifications

  • Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for working with children
  • 6 months of experience working or volunteering with individuals with intellectual disabilities is a must
  • Candidates with an RBT, ABAT, or BCAT certification preferred
  • Current student or recent graduate in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Sociology, Biology, or related field
  • Spanish-speaking is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
  • Reliability and a willingness to work with a variety of clients

Requirements

  • Active RBT/ABAT/BCAT certification is required for this position
  • If you do not hold an ABA paraprofessional/BT certification or training, please apply to the Behavior Technician role
  • You must maintain an active RBT/ABAT/BCAT as a requirement for continued employment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • This job requires reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
  • This job requires a CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain during onboarding)
  • This job requires a TB test (within 90 days), MMR & Varicella Immunization, and a Pre-employment Physical (within the past year)
  • This job requires a background check (FBI & DOJ)
