Registered Behavior Technician

About the role

Autism Learning Partners is seeking individuals who are passionate about helping children and teens with autism. The role requires 6+ months of paid or volunteer experience working with children, such as babysitting, tutoring, camp counseling, or church/youth group involvement. This position offers flexible scheduling, starting at 3:30 PM to 8 PM Monday through Friday, with compensation ranging from $21 to $26.75 per hour. Spanish fluency is required, and Spanish-speaking candidates earn an additional $0.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Teach children new skills through play-based activities
• Encourage progress and celebrate small victories daily
• Maintain a positive and supportive environment
• Keep detailed records of each session
• Collaborate with families to support their child's development

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED completed
• At least one semester of college coursework (or currently enrolled)
• 6+ months of experience working with children (paid or volunteer)
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance
• Ability to pass background and health checks
• Completion of mandatory training including New Hire Orientation, 40 hours of RBT training, Skills Practice, CPR, CPI, and passing an exam to become a Registered Behavior Technician
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English

Schedule & Pay

• Part-time schedule with availability from 3:30 PM to 8 PM Monday through Friday
• Daily pay access available
• Compensation range: $21 to $26.75 per hour
• Additional $2 per hour for evenings and weekends
