Registered Behavior Technician ABA Therapist
About the role
As a Registered Behavior Technician ABA Therapist, you will work closely with our team of experienced therapists and board-certified behavior analysts to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
Responsibilities
- Conducting ABA therapy sessions with children and adolescents in their homes, using evidence-based techniques and strategies to promote skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
- Collecting and recording data on client progress, and providing verbal and written reports to parents and treatment teams.
- Collaborating with our team to develop and implement treatment plans, and making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal client outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of client data, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in ABA therapy.
Requirements
- RBT certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire.
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
