Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician ABA Therapist to join our team at Alight Behavioral Therapy in Jacksonville, NC.
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in their natural environments, implementing individualized behavior plans designed by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Collect and record data on client behavior, progress, and treatment effectiveness
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and staff to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in ABA therapy and autism treatment
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including BCBAs, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and psychologists to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes
Requirements
- Must be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certified by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as psychology, education, or special education
- Familiarity with positive behavioral supports (PBS) and applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
