Graduates working toward chartered or equivalent status receive financial support and a professionally registered mentor. You’ll play a key role in delivering outcomes for communities and the environment, gaining project experience while contributing to wider initiatives. All graduates receive ongoing support and development opportunities to help them build skills, grow their network, and succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to projects across sectors such as transportation, infrastructure, property, environment, energy, water, planning, or strategic advisory.
  • Gain hands-on experience through on-the-job learning and involvement in real-world initiatives.
  • Develop professional skills through workshops, mentoring, and networking opportunities.
  • Work toward chartered or equivalent status with financial support and guidance from a professionally registered mentor.
  • Collaborate with diverse, talented teams to deliver innovative solutions for communities and the environment.

Requirements

  • Background in engineering, science, digital, data, STEM, economics, business, or finance.
  • Eligibility to join WSP’s Graduate Development Programme starting in April or September 2027.

Application Process

Applications for the 2027 Graduate Development Programme open in mid-September 2026. Early applications are recommended, as vacancies may close before the advertised deadline. The process includes:

  • Online structured application.
  • Online assessment.
  • Interview days (face-to-face or virtual).
  • Offer of employment.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, with some candidates progressing to final stages before the closing date. The first application window runs from September to November, followed by continuous recruitment for remaining vacancies from December to May. Interviews take place from November to May.
